PETALING JAYA (May 29): Golden Village Properties (GVP) marked the completion of Residensi Pauh Harmoni with a handover of keys event on April 26 in Seberang Perai Tengah, Penang.
The project is a Rumah MutiaraKu (RMKu) Type C affordable housing development undertaken in collaboration with the Lembaga Perumahan Negeri Pulau Pinang (LPNPP).
Residensi Pauh Harmoni represents GVP's first high-rise residential development in Seberang Perai and marks a significant milestone in the company's portfolio expansion. GVP said in a statement that the project was completed on schedule.
The development consists of a seven-storey residential block comprising 112 units, with built-ups ranging from 800 to 900 sq ft. Each unit features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with layouts designed to maximise comfort, natural ventilation and lighting. Residents will also have access to facilities including a swimming pool, gymnasium, playground, multipurpose hall and multi-tier security system.
The key handover ceremony was officiated by Penang State Executive Councillor for Housing and Environment Datuk Seri Sundarajoo Somu, who reaffirmed the state government's commitment to expanding access to affordable and quality housing, particularly for families within the B40 and M40 income groups.
GVP deputy managing director Eugene Fong Chuen said the successful completion of the project was made possible through collaboration among various stakeholders, including government agencies, local authorities, financial institutions, contractors, professional consultants, property agencies and the surrounding community.
"This project is not merely about physical development, but about building a sustainable and harmonious community. We deeply appreciate the support from all parties, especially our purchasers who have placed their trust and confidence in us. For many of them, this is their first home — and we are proud to be part of such an important milestone in their lives," he said.
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the company said it also carried out infrastructure improvements in the surrounding area, including road upgrading and resurfacing works to enhance accessibility, comfort and safety for residents and the wider community.
The ceremony also witnessed the symbolic handover of keys to 30 homebuyers, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
GVP reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality developments that not only meet housing needs but also create added value for the community and the environment.
