Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the official launch of the new rail line will be held this Sunday and officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Operations will commence immediately on Monday,” he told reporters after opening the new Road Transport Department Bandar Tasik Selatan branch at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan here on Monday.
Spanning 37.8km, the LRT3 runs from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia in Selangor, and is expected to benefit around two million residents.
Designed to improve connectivity across the western corridor of the Klang Valley, the line will serve key residential, commercial and industrial areas along its route.
