AME Elite, KLK Land to unveil 151.2-acre industrial park in Sungai Buloh

PETALING JAYA (July 14): AME Elite Consortium Bhd and KLK Land Sdn Bhd are set to unveil i-Park @ Coalfields, a 151.2-acre industrial park within Bandar Seri Coalfields in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, marking Johor-based AME Elite’s first industrial development venture in the state.

The joint development will be previewed at a media briefing on July 22, where the developers are expected to outline Phase 1, including the development concept, product offerings and target industries, said the press statement on Monday.

The development marks the first collaboration between AME Elite and KLK Land. It brings together AME Elite’s experience in developing integrated industrial parks and KLK Land’s role as the master planner of Bandar Seri Coalfields, a township development by the property arm associated with Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.

AME Elite has established its industrial park portfolio mainly in Johor, including its i-Park developments, while KLK Land has been developing Bandar Seri Coalfields as a township incorporating residential, commercial and community components.

The industrial park will be integrated into the existing township ecosystem, with the developers positioning the project around a work-live-play concept that combines industrial facilities with surrounding amenities.

The developers said the project is aimed at supporting demand from both domestic and foreign manufacturers, reflecting continued interest in Malaysia as a manufacturing and supply chain destination.

i-Park @ Coalfields will incorporate sustainability features, with facilities being developed to GreenRE-ready standards, according to the developer. The project will also include provisions for workers’ accommodation designed to meet regulatory requirements.

The project’s location in Sungai Buloh provides access to Selangor’s wider industrial and logistics network, although specific infrastructure linkages were not disclosed in the pre-launch materials.
