PETALING JAYA (July 15): Plenitude Bhd has introduced Mandolin Residences, a 712-unit freehold serviced apartment development in Taman Desa Tebrau, Johor Bahru, as the group introduces a high-rise residential offering within the established township.
In a press statement today, the Bursa Malaysia-listed developer said the project comprises two towers with five layout configurations ranging from 528 to 1,017 sq ft, including studio, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and selected dual-key units.
Prices start from RM326,400, with the development targeted at first-time homebuyers, professionals, families and multi-generational households.
Mandolin Residences is located within the 965-acre Taman Desa Tebrau township, supported by surrounding retail, education, healthcare and lifestyle amenities.
Nearby destinations include AEON Tebrau City, IKEA Tebrau, Toppen Shopping Centre, Lotus’s Tebrau, Hospital Sultan Ismail, Sunway College JB, Maple International School and Austin Heights Private and International School.
The development is connected via major road networks including the Pasir Gudang Highway, Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL) and the PLUS Highway, providing connectivity across Johor Bahru. Planned public transport improvements within the Tebrau corridor, including the proposed e-ART system, could further enhance connectivity.
Mandolin Residences features more than 30 facilities across a one-acre facilities podium at Level 6, organised into four zones — Active, Aquatic, Leisure and Social.
Facilities include a swimming pool, gymnasium, sunken lounge, multipurpose hall, indoor and outdoor children’s play areas, a baby room and a childcare centre at ground level.
Each tower also features a Sky Garden at Level 30, offering shared spaces for residents.
The development incorporates smart access and security features across vehicle access points, lobbies, residential floors and shared facilities.
Sustainability features include passive design elements for natural ventilation, energy-efficient lighting, rainwater harvesting and electric vehicle-ready infrastructure.
“Mandolin Residences draws inspiration from the mandolin instrument, where different strings come together to create a unified melody. Similarly, the development brings together the elements that matter most to today's homebuyers — an established township setting, thoughtfully designed homes, lifestyle facilities, smart security and everyday conveniences,” said Plenitude Bhd CEO Anthony Ng.
Mandolin Residences marks Plenitude’s continued development within Taman Desa Tebrau, introducing a high-rise residential offering within the mature township.
The project builds on the group’s presence in the area and its broader portfolio of residential and commercial developments across Malaysia.
Plenitude said the development reflects its focus on creating communities aligned with evolving lifestyle needs.
