PETALING JAYA (July 27): SkyWorld Development Bhd has established its first permanent overseas presence with the opening of a sales gallery and office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The sales gallery serves as SkyWorld's first permanent physical presence outside Malaysia and showcases SkySOLIS, a three-tower residential development comprising 1,101 units.
According to the company’s statement on Sunday (July 26), the opening of the sales gallery and the launch of SkySOLIS represent the first tangible milestones under SkyWorld 2040, its long-term strategy to expand its presence across Southeast Asia and build sustainable, future-ready communities beyond Malaysia.
Vietnam is SkyWorld's first overseas market after years of focusing its property developments in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
SkySOLIS has been designed around SkyWorld's Healthy Home principles and will be built to Malaysia's Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic) quality standards. The development will also incorporate the SkyWorld Connects App, enabling residents to access visitor management, facility bookings and community services through a single digital platform.
CEO Lee Chee Seng said the opening of the company's first overseas sales gallery marked an important milestone in SkyWorld's regional growth.
"The opening of our first overseas Sales Gallery represents an important milestone in SkyWorld's regional expansion. It reflects our confidence in bringing our proven development model beyond Malaysia while introducing the SkyWorld experience to a new market.
"Through SkySOLIS, we are committed to delivering quality homes, healthier living environments and smart community solutions that create lasting value for homeowners," he said.
SkyWorld said the sales gallery is designed as more than a sales centre, providing prospective homebuyers with an immersive experience of the group's approach to quality craftsmanship, innovative design and healthier living.
The sales gallery and office is located at 179 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, where it will serve as the company's dedicated customer experience centre for prospective homebuyers and business partners in Vietnam.
The opening ceremony was attended by SkyWorld executive chairman Datuk Seri Ng Thien Phing, executive director Datuk Lam Soo Keong, Lee, chief financial officer Low Weng Cheong, and Brian Ng, general director of SkyWorld Vietnam.
