Compugates seeks Federal Court leave in Dengkil JV dispute

PETALING JAYA (July 30): Compugates Holdings Bhd said it filed for leave to appeal to the Federal Court in a legal dispute involving its joint venture with Main Uptown Sdn Bhd to develop a mixed development in Dengkil, Selangor.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (July 29), the group said its 70%-owned sub-subsidiary, Compugates Development and Mining Sdn Bhd (CDMSB), filed the leave application on July 21, 2026.

The Federal Court has fixed case management for Aug 21, 2026, to be conducted via e-Review, the company said.

The proceedings relate to Federal Court Leave Application No. 08(f)-295-07/2026 (B), in which CDMSB is the applicant and Main Uptown is the respondent.

The matter relates to the parties' joint venture to develop approximately 154,990 sq m of leasehold land identified as H.S. (D) 13828, PT 26800, in Mukim Dengkil, Sepang, Selangor into a mixed development.

Compugates said it will make further announcements on any material developments.
