PETALING JAYA (July 31): AME Elite Consortium Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Taiwan-listed FIC Global Inc (FICG) to support the latter's manufacturing expansion in Johor under its Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) strategy.

The collaboration, formalised at the Asean Conference 2026 in Singapore, will involve AME Elite providing industrial development and engineering support for FICG's expansion in Malaysia through its subsidiary, PRO3C (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

Under the MoU, AME Elite will provide integrated industrial park development, customised industrial facilities and engineering solutions to support PRO3C's expansion in Johor. FICG said the facilities will support manufacturing serving the artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), data centre, semiconductor and other advanced technology sectors.

FICG said its "JS-SEZ Twinning Strategy" is complemented by a separate letter of intent with Singapore's JTC Corporation for a planned regional innovation and supply chain centre in Singapore.

AME Elite executive director and group CEO Dylan Tan Teck Eng said the collaboration would further position Johor and the JS-SEZ as a regional hub for high-value manufacturing.

FICG chairman Leo Chien said the company was building a resilient cross-border platform combining Malaysia's manufacturing strengths with Singapore's capabilities in innovation, talent and supply chain management to serve its global customers and create long-term value.

According to FICG, PRO3C's manufacturing campus at i-Park @ Senai Airport City began volume production at the end of 2025 and continues to ramp up. The company plans to officially open the facility in October 2026.
