WCT secures RM600.89m contract for 41-storey office building at TRX

PETALING JAYA (Aug 28): WCT Holdings Bhd has secured a RM600.89 million contract to construct a 41-storey office building at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Friday (Aug 28), WCT said its wholly owned subsidiary WCT Bhd had executed and accepted a letter of award from Pelangi Pasifik Sdn Bhd.

Pelangi Pasifik is a wholly owned subsidiary of TRX City Sdn Bhd.

The proposed office building will be constructed on Lot 20076 (Plot 7) and part of Lot 20077 (Plot 8), Section 67, TRX, along Jalan Tun Razak/Jalan Davis.

The RM600,887,586.69 contract covers a three-phase development comprising part of a connecting road; two basement levels and a four-storey podium for parking and mechanical facilities; 14 floors of office space together with amenity, commercial and mechanical areas; and a further 27 floors of office space.

The scope of works includes civil and structural works, architectural works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, facade works, landscaping, external works and other associated works.

Construction is scheduled to commence on Dec 1, 2026.

WCT said none of its directors or major shareholders, or persons connected with them, has any direct or indirect interest in the contract.
