TRX: Over 85% of office supply committed as Menara Ethos to add 808,000 sq ft

PETALING JAYA (Sept 1): More than 85% of office supply at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) has been committed, as the financial district prepares to add about 808,000 sq ft of net lettable area (NLA) through Menara Ethos, according to its master developer TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRXC).

Main construction works for the 41-storey office tower are expected to commence in December 2026, TRXC said in a statement on Tuesday. Menara Ethos is set to become TRX's 10th building.

WCT Bhd had on Friday (Aug 28) accepted a RM600.89 million contract from Pelangi Pasifik Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of TRXC, to undertake the project, according to WCT Holdings Bhd's Bursa Malaysia filing.

The project, located on Lot 20076 (Plot 7) and part of Lot 20077 (Plot 8) in Section 67, TRX, comprises two basement levels and a four-storey podium for parking and mechanical space, as well as 41 storeys of office space, facilities, commercial and mechanical space.

The contract covers civil and structural works, architectural works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, façade works, landscaping, external works and other associated works. Construction is scheduled to commence on Dec 1, 2026.

Located in TRX's Financial Quarter, Menara Ethos will have access to the district's MRT interchange. TRXC said the building will feature sky gardens, multi-level security systems, a dedicated event floor and a centralised business hub.

The building is designed to achieve WELL Core and Shell certification.

TRXC said Menara Ethos will house PwC Malaysia's new headquarters upon completion. About 30,000 workers are currently based in the 70-acre TRX district, according to TRXC.

TRXC, which is wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance, is the master developer of TRX.
