Paramount Corp opens eleventh Co-labs Coworking outlet in Sunway Square

PETALING JAYA (Sept 10): Paramount Corp Bhd (KL:PARAMON) has officially opened its eleventh co-working space outlet named Co-Labs Coworking Sunway Square at Sunway Square Corporate Tower 1 on Thursday.

Spanning 19,000 sq ft, the co-working space occupies Level 9 of the tower and offers four enterprise suites, 30 private offices, eight fixed desks and eight open workspace access. It can accommodate up to 268 people.

According to Paramount Corp deputy chairman Benjamin Teo, the co-working space currently has an occupancy rate of 30%, and will reach 50% by the end of the month with two more multinational companies coming in.

“We have already welcomed multinational members from sectors including fast-moving consumer goods and healthcare in our first few weeks of operation. Sunway Square is our first premium setting and being in a grade A office, we're really trying to cater to the needs of big multinational companies.

“So, with that, you see a bit of an elevated kind of fit out and in terms of our services, we try to take very much a hospitality-led approach to how we treat our clients. Being part of the wider Sunway ecosystem gives our members access to business, healthcare, education, retail, lifestyle and everyday amenities around them,” Teo added.

Adding on, Paramount Coworking Sdn Bhd general manager Wayne Yap said the facilities and services offered to its Sunway Square members include chauffeur services, as well as access to Sunway Corporate Tower 1’s in-house facilities such as event spaces, gymnasium and nursery rooms.

As for Co-labs’ upcoming pipeline, Teo revealed that Paramount Corp has opened another enterprise outlet at Mid Valley City in Kuala Lumpur, spanning about 16,000 sq ft. Next year, the company has plans to launch two more Co-labs outlets, one in Johor Bahru and the other in the Klang Valley.
