Aira Residence

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 17): Selangor Properties Bhd (SPB) will be launching Aira Residence in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur next month, according to the company’s COO Chong Koon San.

Situated at the high point of Jalan Batai, the 18-storey Aira Residence which carries a gross development value of RM800 million will be offering 105 condos with built-ups of between 2,679 and 7,730 sq ft. The selling price of Aira Residence averages at RM1,700 psf.

“The substructure work for the project has started in January, and the project is expected to be completed by 2019,” said Chong.

SPB has engaged international architect firm Aedas, Netherlands interior design company Studio Piet Boon and Singapore landscaping design company Tierra Design, to design Aira Residence.

The three-acre freehold development will have a meditation garden with tropical trees, a bio-pond with aquatic plants and pavilions. Other facilities include a viewing deck, terraced garden, gymnasium and multi-purpose hall.

Chong noted that all the units will have unobstructed views of the Kuala Lumpur city centre. The target market for Aira Residence are high-net-worth individuals living in Damansara Heights and Bangsar.

Apart from Aira Residence, SPB is focusing on the refurbishment of SPB tower, located next to Aira Residence.

Completed in 1974, the 17-storey tower has 64 condos with an average built-up of 1,700 sq ft. SPB owns 49 units while the rest were sold.

Currently, all the owners and tenants have moved out for the refurbishment. Work is expected to be completed by 2019, the same completion time as Aira Residence.

Besides SPB tower, the company also plans to redevelop Kompleks Pejabat Damansara and Wisma Damansara.
