KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 24): Shares of Pesona Metro Holdings Bhd rose 2.27% in early trade today after its wholly-owned subsidiary Pesona Metro Sdn Bhd was awarded a RM402 million contract for the construction of a 52-storey apartment block on Jalan Kia Peng, Kuala Lumpur.
At 9.15am, Pesona Metro added 1 sen to 45 sen with 2.59 million shares traded.
The group expects the project, the Eaton Residences, to contribute positively to its earnings during the duration of the 43-month project commencing Dec 1, 2016.
“The project will be utilising internally generated funds and is not expected to have any material effect on the gearing of the group,” it said.
