Seacera's unit sued for RM25.6m in unpaid taxes

In a bourse filing today, Seacera said Duta Skyline was yesterday (Feb 17) served with a statement of claim and writ of summons by IRB. Duta Skyline holds assets of more than 70% within the Seacera group.

Tony Tiah to take TA Global private via his flagship company

TA Enterprise (TAE) announced to Bursa Malaysia that it is making a conditional voluntary offer to buy out 2.12 billion shares, which is equivalent to a 39.83% stake in TA Global it does not already own. TAE currently owns a 60.17% stake.

State-owned Perak Corp now a PN17 firm

The state-owned firm told the stock exchange yesterday that it is now regarded a PN17 company, arising from the default in payment and its inability to declare solvency.
