KUALA TERENGGANU

Overview

Kuala Terengganu is a district in the state of Terengganu. It also has the distinction of being the Royal Town of Terengganu. Kuala Terengganu is also the administrative capital and the main economic center of Terengganu. Located about 500 kilometres northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Terengganu sits at the wide estuary of the Terengganu River.

In front of Kuala Terengganu, right in the South China Sea are the Redang and Kapas Islands which are for their clear waters, sandy beaches and home to teeming a spectacular variety of marine life.
