KUALA LUMPUR (April 4): Negeri Sembilan will have a special quota for every category of affordable homes under its housing policy for armed forces personnel and veterans.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the government had already reserved 20% of the Type A affordable homes priced at RM80,000 per unit at Taman Sunggala Hartamas near Port Dickson to the Negeri Sembilan Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) veterans association, Bernama reported yesterday.

“We will create a special pool for affordable homes under the state housing policy so that the houses can be owned by MAF personnel and veterans,” Bernama reported as saying to the media after the launch of the defence ministry Housing Blueprint by Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein in Port Dickson yesterday.
