KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 30): Property developer Sentoria Group Bhd has accepted two letters of awards worth a combined RM124.8 million from H.A. Properties Sdn Bhd to build terraced homes in Kuantan, Pahang.

Its unit Sentoria Bina Sdn Bhd accepted the letters of awards yesterday.

The first contract is to build 420 units of single-storey terrace houses, known as Taman Damai Sempurna in Sri Damai, Mukim Kuala Kuantan, for a contract sum of RM52.8 million.

The second contract involves 630 units of single-storey terrace houses, known as Taman Seri Sempurna in Mukim Penor, for a contract sum of RM72 million.

The group said the contracts, which will commence today and is due for completion by Aug 28, 2020, is not expected to have material effects on the earnings, gearing or net assets per share of Sentoria group for the current financial year ending Sept 30, 2018 (FY18).

It will however be expected to contribute positively towards the group’s future financial performance.

Sentoria shares closed 0.5 sen or 1% down at 49.5 sen yesterday, for a market capitalisation of RM276.12 million. — theedgemarkets.com
