Carsome to move its HQ to luxury coworking space Colony@Mutiara Damansara

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 25): Colony, the luxury co-working space and serviced office provider announced today that Carsome, Southeast Asia’s largest online used-car auction platform is moving its 150-person team to Colony@Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

It has previously announced that Malaysia’s largest snack company Mamee will be moving its HQ office to Colony@Mutiara Damansara.

This means that the co-working space located at KYM Tower, a new Grade A, Green Building Index Gold Certified and MSC Status building located just five minute from The Curve shopping centre will open with at least 81% occupancy rate come July. The 19,000 sq ft co-working space is Colony’s first foray into Selangor.

“We are excited to announce that we’ll be moving to a new location. By moving our headquarters to Colony, we are committed to provide an elevated working experience to the team and gaining a solid foothold in Southeast Asia,” said Eric Cheng, CEO & Co-Founder of Carsome.

Carsome is the first website in Malaysia that provides car-selling services. Funded by local and global investors, it has raised a total funding of over US$35 million (RM142.65 million) and is currently operating in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand with more than 14 inspection centres.
