Taman Megah is a mature residential area in SS24 Petaling Jaya located within the vicinity of Taman Sea, Taman Bahagia, Taman Mayang Jaya and Kelana Jaya.

Comprising mainly landed homes, Taman Megah also has some shopoffices. Residents often throng the morning market at Pasar Taman Megah SS24 and the hawker stalls nearby. There are three public parks within the precinct.

Nearby amenities include Artria Shopping Gallery, Paradigm Mall, Mayang Oasis food court, LRT Kelana Jaya station, LRT Taman Bahagia station, as well as schools including SJK(C) Yuk Chai and SK Taman Megah. “Coincidently, this was exactly what the buyer was looking for, as he liked the original design as it comes with a bigger garden. He also liked the location which is within a mature area and yet is quiet and low-density,” Wong pointed out.

“The house is two minutes away by foot to a well-maintained public park, which has a football field and a covered basketball court,” she added. Furthermore, the house is within walking distance to the shops and a morning market.

“It is a good deal as the location is superior and the house is a rare find,” said Wong.

The deal was concluded with a price tag of RM2.80 million.

According to EdgeProp.my’s listings, as at Oct 2, the average asking price for intermediate terraced houses in Taman Megah was RM1.22 million based on seven listings.
