Developed by SKS Group, TriTower Residence is located in Johor Bahru. It consists of three towers - two residential towers and Capri by Fraser Hotel and Residences. Consisting of 360 units in total, it offers eight types of unit layouts with built-up ranging from 668 sq ft to 1,347 sq ft.
According to Evanne Wan from New Bob Realty, the buyer is a foreign buyer hailing from America. As they had often visited Singapore in the past, they decided to get a second home for their own stay.
Wan further explained that they had purchased a unit at TriTower Residence after taking into consideration on the upcoming Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS). The RTS is due to be completed by 2026 and once it is in operation, the Singapore Changi Airport will only be 45 minutes away.
Commenting on the concluded deal, Wan noted that it was a fair purchase for both parties as the previous owner wanted to sell the unit for cash flow while the buyer managed to purchase it at an affordable price.
"The highest selling price is about RM1,000 psf pre-pandemic while the current price ranges between RM700 psf to RM800 psf," Wan added.
As of end-March 2022, 10 units at TriTower Residence have been listed for sale on EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM965,165 or RM759.93 psf. For rental listings, there are five units with an average asking price of RM1,480 or RM1.96 psf.
