Marc Residence is a luxury serviced apartment completed in 2017 by Singapore-based Beverly Group Sdn Bhd. Housed in two 35-storey blocks, the 637 units have built-ups ranging between 463 sq ft and 6,049 sq ft. 

One WSM Property Sdn Bhd real estate negotiator Meifen Low, who closed the deal, said the unit was sold with an ongoing tenancy, which the purchaser was pleased with.  

The buyer also intended it as an accommodation for his staff in the future. 

For the sellers, Low shared that they had decided to cash out the unit and reinvest the money for other purposes. 

Low said it was a win-win deal as the purchaser was taking over the unit with a ready tenant while the seller was able to reap the profits from its appreciation.

“When it was first launched, the price was around RM900 psf. Now, the price has gone up between RM1,200 psf and RM1,300 psf,” she said.

As of mid-April 2022, there were 80 units of Marc Residence listed for sale in EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM3.1 million or RM1,399.82 psf. There were also 101 units listed for rent at an average asking monthly rate of RM6,222.28 or RM4.29 psf.
