Section 5 is a mature residential area strategically located in Petaling Jaya, with easy access to Kuala Lumpur. Located along the 2.31km of the Jalan Gasing stretch, the neighbourhood consists of bungalows, semidees, terraces and condominiums.

Concluded by Jeevanathan Pillai of Metro City Realtors Sdn Bhd, he shared that the purchaser’s main reason for shifting here was its proximity to their workplace. 

“They work around the Mid Valley area and decided to relocate their residence to an area that is nearby their workplace,” said Pillai.

They were previously staying at SS2, and wanted to be away from the busy streets of the neighbourhood there.

The purchasers loved the greenery surrounding the bungalow, especially the popular hiking destination, Bukit Gasing, which is only 50m away. 

As for the seller, Pillai said he had retired and decided to sell off his property. 

As of May 2022, 36 bungalows in Section 5 were listed for sale at an average asking price of RM3.25 million or RM387 psf against land size while five bungalows were listed for rent at an average monthly rate of RM4,500 or RM0.77 psf against land size.
