Taman Cheras is a residential enclave comprising bungalows and terraced houses. It is a mature residential neighbourhood with the convenience of daily amenities at hand. For hiking enthusiasts, there is a hiking trail called Ketumbar Hill, only four minutes’ drive away.
Jessica Tung from PropNex Realty Sdn Bhd, who concluded the deal, said the owner decided to sell this bungalow unit as they wanted to downsize to a smaller house.
Tung said the buyer was attracted to the property because it was not just located in a mature neighbourhood, but also sited on higher ground.
“The house was situated on a higher level compared to the other houses in the neighbourhood. Besides that, they also loved the neighbourhood as it was quite mature with amenities within near distance,” Tung explained.
Commenting on the deal, Tung shared that the buyer was lucky as they had purchased the unit at a reasonable price, considering that bungalow units were very limited in Taman Cheras.
As of mid-June 2022, seven bungalows at Taman Cheras were listed for sale on EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM2.13 million or RM408 psf against land size. There were no bungalow units listed for rental at Taman Cheras.
