How much does it cost to buy a property in Malaysia?

According to NAPIC, there were 92,017 residential property transactions
              in the first half of 2021, averaging RM375,000 per transaction. Total
              cumulative value of transactions during this period is RM34.51 billion.
              Of that, 57% of the transactions are priced under RM300,000. 24% are
              priced between RM300,000 to RM500,000 and 14% are priced between
              RM500,000 to RM1 million. Only 5% of property transactions are priced
              above RM1 million.
              For commercial property, there were 10,433 transactions recorded in the
              first half of 2021, averaging RM1.05 million. Total cumulative value of
              transactions during this period is RM10.93 billion. Of that, 33% of the
              transactions are priced under RM300,000. 22% are priced between
              RM300,000 to RM500,000 and 28% are priced between RM500,000 to RM1
              million. 17% of property transactions are priced above RM1 million.
