Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) is a well-established and matured residential neighbourhood comprising mostly double-storey terraced houses, semidees and bungalows. There are also shoplots near the residential areas offering a myriad of F&B outlets and daily necessities for residents’ convenience.
Zack Ng from Zack Realty Sdn Bhd said the previous owner of this 1½-storey terraced house located in Lorong Abang Haji Openg, TTDI, had decided to let go of this unit once its tenant decided not to renew the lease.
“The house was tenanted prior to the pandemic. Upon expiry, the owner decided to market the property for sale.”
The deciding factors for the buyer were the ready renovations and good condition of the house.
“The buyer loved the fact that the home had already been renovated and therefore in a move-in condition,” Ng explained, adding that this saved the buyer a lot of hassle.
Ng highlighted that this was a good deal for the buyer as a corner terraced unit was a rare find and highly sought after in the TTDI neighbourhood.
As at end-April 2022, there were 91 terraced houses in TTDI listed for sale on EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM2 million or RM914 psf. Meanwhile, there were 16 units under rental listings with an average asking monthly rate of RM3,238 or RM1.69 psf.
