SS 4 or Taman Rasa Sayang is one of the neighbourhoods that make up the Kelana Jaya residential area in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

According to Kevin Low from Rahim & Co International Sdn Bhd, the landlords had been using the shop themselves prior to leasing it out.

“They decided to rent out the ground floor and maintain the second floor as an office for their business operation,” said Low.

For the tenants, they had been running a cafe in Sri Damansara and were looking for another location to expand their business. They had been looking for two years but were not able to find an ideal location for their cafe, said Low.

Low immediately proposed this corner shop unit to them when he found out it was available for rent. Upon viewing, the tenants were instantly interested and quickly negotiated on the rental.

Low shared that the tenant liked the location’s environment and the extra space.

“The tenant wanted to turn the extra space, which was previously a parking space, into an outdoor space for additional tables and event hosting purposes.

“The area also had ample parking space with a not-so-busy environment. People could come over to relax over coffee and have a good time with their family and friends.”

As of June 2022, there were no commercial listings in SS 4 on EdgeProp.my.
