KUALA LUMPUR: Daya Materials Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Daya Urusharta Sdn Bhd has proposed to acquire five units of office suites of stratified mixed commercial development known as Solaris Dutamas for RM2.76 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the proposed acquisition is located in Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur, with a total net area of approximately 466 sq m.

Daya Urusharta has entered into five sale and purchase agreements with Koperasi Permodalan Felda Malaysia Bhd for the proposed acquisition, it said.

The purchase price is expected to be financed by the group's internally generated funds and or bank borrowings, the breakdown of which has yet to be determined.

Daya Urusharta is at present a dormant company.

With the proposed purchase, Daya Urusharta will embark into property investment business activities and this will benefit the group as a whole. — Bernama
