Putrajaya Perdana lands RM142.8m job to build private hospital

KUALA LUMPUR: Construction firm Putrajaya Perdana Bhd (PPB) was awarded a RM142.8 million contract to build a 300-bed private hospital in Desa ParkCity.

The company, through its unit Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd, received the award from Trekker Avenue Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd. The project, which will include a six-storey elevated car park, is due to be completed in April 2012.

Perdana ParkCity is the developer of the 473-acre Desa ParkCity township.

The project marks Putrajaya Perdana’s first project in the health sector. The construction firm is also the main contractor of Putrajaya – the nation’s administrative capital.

It has also undertaken several prominent projects in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
