KUALA LUMPUR: SHL Consolidated Bhd recorded a net profit drop of under 1% to RM6.979 million from RM7.041 million for its second quarter (2Q) financial results ended Sept 30, 2010, the group announced on Monday, Nov 29.

Revenue earned during the same period dropped 19% to RM50.538 million from RM62.068 million the year before.

The basic earning per share for the quarter under review dropped to 2.88 sen from 2.91 sen a year ago. Net assets per share, however, increased to RM2.26 from RM2.20 the preceding financial year end.
