Speaking to reporters this morning at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya, Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah said the VVIP met former police Special Action Unit (UTK) officer Azilah Hadri outside the prison.
"You cannot make condemnation [allegations] against someone and the court can't make a decision against anyone who is condemned in the proceedings without the person being in court to be given the right to answer," said Najib’s lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah.
"The attorney-general who is involved in the civil suit should immediately take steps and institute contempt proceedings against all and everyone who is coming out with these statements and prejudicing that trial."
