Special housing scheme to help senior citizens own houses

KUALA LUMPUR: A special housing scheme will be introduced to enable senior citizens and those without permanent or fixed income to buy houses.

Federal Territories and Urban WellBeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said his ministry were in discussions with the Housing and Local Government Ministry to introduce the scheme to facilitate such purchases.

KUALA LUMPUR: UOA Development Bhd's institutional price has been fixed at RM2.60 and the final retail price at RM2.52.

At RM2.52, this was below the indicative retail price of RM2.90.

CIMB Investment Bank Bhd said on Friday, May 27 the price was fixed following the completion of the book-building under the institutional offering on Thursday.
