YTL Hospitality REIT’s acquisition of Syeun Hotel to boost NPI by 1% — AmInvestment

AmInvestment Bank Research expects YTL Hospitality REIT’s recent acquisition of Syeun Hotel in Ipoh to contribute a minimum net property income (NPI) of RM3.4 million to the group — representing only 1% of YTL REIT’s FY2024F NPI — based on a property yield of 6.1%, derived from the average property yield of its Malaysian assets.

YTL Hospitality REIT (YTL REIT) is acquiring Syeun Hotel in Ipoh, Perak, for RM55 million cash, as it looks to continuously acquire and invest in high-quality hospitality properties in Malaysia and internationally, with a view to providing long-term and sustainable income distribution to unitholders and achieving long-term growth in net asset value per unit.
