KUALA LUMPUR: The world’s largest hotel chain, Best Western International (BWI), is expanding its hospitality brand in Malaysia by launching the Best Western Prima Inland Sea Resort within the coastal town of Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.

Located 40 minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur, the new Best Western Prima Inland Sea Resort is a 23-acre resort offering 300 rooms, 16 multipurpose function rooms and a 875 sq m grand ballroom able to accommodate up to 1,500 guests. The resort also features Malaysia’s largest man-made beach the size of five Olympic-sized swimming pools.

The hotel offers various facilities including a steam room, massage services, fitness centre, kids’ club, karaoke room, bicycle hire, games room and an open air theatre for live performances. Its lagoon-styled swimming pool comes complete with waterslides, whirlpools and waterfalls.

“As the beach resort of choice for so many Malaysians, Port Dickson is at the very heart of this growth. We are confident the Best Western Prima Inland Sea Resort will become one of our most popular Asian properties,” said Glenn de Souza, BWI’s vice-president of international operations in Asia and the Middle East in a recent statement.
