KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has secured foreign contracts worth about RM38.19 million, bringing the group's current book order to RM3.16 billion.

Bina Puri (Thailand) Ltd had on Nov 12 won the 175 million baht (RM18.28 million) contract to construct the "warehouse building and ancillary facilities at Ladkrabang Industrial Estate, Bangkok", it said on Wednesday, Dec 8.

Meanwhile, Bina Puri Saudi Co Ltd was awarded a stormwater pipeline project on Oct 20 by the City Council of Northern Border (Turaif) for a contract sum of 23.99 million riyals (RM19.91 million).

The construction for the Thailand project is expected to take seven months, while the duration of the Saudi contract is 540 days.

With these two new contracts, Bina Puri has managed to secure new projects worth RM2.46 billion in 2010.
