Health director general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said via Twitter today that the 15 deaths brought the nation’s cumulative number of Covid-19-related fatalities to 578 so far.

The Tapak Bina Cyber cluster, which involves the districts of Sepang, Petaling, Klang and Hulu Langat in Selangor, is the new cluster with the highest number of new infections at 67 cases
Selangor remains to see the highest daily of new cases at 730.
In a statement today, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the Mikro cluster had the highest number of new infections, involving the districts of Johor Baru, Kulai and Pontian with 97 cases. This new cluster was a result of the targeted screening in a factory, where 588 individuals were tested.
Meanwhile, 1,401 patients were cured and discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 106,832.
Total active cases — which carry high transmission risks — rose to 13,830,
Of the 35 employees who tested positive, 20 are from the group's Bestari Jaya operations and the other 15 are from its Next Generation Integrated Glove Manufacturing Complex in Sepang. All of them were asymptomatic during the tests.
