A&M Realty 3Q net profit down 52.5% to RM3.71 million

KUALA LUMPUR: A&M Realty Bhd saw its net profit fall 52.5% to RM3.71 million for its third quarter (3Q) ended Sept 30, 2010 from RM7.82 million a year ago on lower revenue.
The group posted revenue of RM29.27 million, down 34% from RM44.36 million on completion of certain projects during the current quarter, it announced to Bursa Malaysia on Thursday, Nov 25.
Basic earnings per share stood at 0.94 sen, down from 2.08 sen while net assets per share stood at RM1.27, from RM1.25 a year ago.
The group expects to perform satisfactorily this year.
