KUALA LUMPUR (June 18): The International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition Malaysia (Archidex) opens on July 4 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It will run until July 7.

Archidex 2012 will share the venue with Eco-B, Malaysia's first Eco-building and Design Exhibition featuring new eco-friendly and sustainable products and services.

The exhibition is held in conjunction with the Malaysian Institute of Architect's (PAM) Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival 2012 and will feature four concurrent conferences, the International Architectural Design Conference 2012 (DATUM: KL 2012) which will be held on July 6 and 7.

The Tropical Subtropical Green Building Alliance Conference 2012 will be held on July 4 and 5. The Green Building Forum 2012, will also be held on the same days, while the Kuala Lumpur Design Forum 2012, will be held on July 5.

The exhibition is a yearly event organised by PAM and CIS Network as a platform for architects, interior designers, developers and building-related professionals. This year, it will take up 18,000 sq ft of exhibition space and will hold 1,100 booths from 430 companies worldwide.
