KAJANG (Nov 14): Bangi Heights Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of United Malayan Land Bhd (UM Land) will be launching the second phase of its Legundi Residensi series within the township of Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi soon.

The new phase spans 8.44 acres, has a gross development value (GDV) of RM58 million and will comprise of 52 units of 2-storey cluster houses, 16 units of 2-storey semi-detached houses and three units of 2-storey bungalows.

The 2-storey cluster units have built-up areas between 2,659 sq ft-2,780 sq ft with prices ranging from RM743,400 to RM1.2 million, while the 2-storey semi-Ds have built-up areas from 3,020 sq ft and are tagged from RM932,400 to RM1.4 million. The 2-storey bungalows have a built-up area of 3,506 sq ft with a price tag of RM1.6 million to RM1.7 million.

According to UM Land director of operations Zulkifly Garib, the second phase will be the final phase of the Legundi Residensi series.

"The second phase takes off from the first series, which is practically sold out. Value and quality remain the essence of this new product," Zulkifly said. "We have further raised our benchmark through this phase and believe that the market will see and realise this."

Legundi Residensi Series 1 was launched on April 16 and has achieved a take-up rate of 92% since, said Zulkifly adding that UM Land hopes to repeat the success of the first phase in its second phase. Sitting on 7.9 acres, the first phase comprises 65 houses, 52 units of 2-storey cluster homes, 12 units of 2-storey semidee houses and one 2-storey bungalow.

The official launch for phase 2 is slated for Nov 19 and 20. Legundi Residensi is part of the developer's ongoing township development Bandar Seri Putra and future developments in the township will include apartments, shop offices and bungalows.
Bandar Seri Putra is an integrated township spread over 898 acres of freehold land located along the KL-Seremban Highway. The township is 37km to Kuala Lumpur, 12km to Bandar Baru Bangi, 30km to Putrajaya, 35km to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 5km to Nilai.
