KUALA LUMPUR: Bertam Alliance Bhd's net profit surged to RM2.28 million for its third quarter (3Q) ended Sept 30, 2010, from RM574,000 a year ago on higher operating income.
Revenue more than doubled to RM13.38 million from RM5.77 million, it announced to Bursa Malaysia on Friday, Nov 26.
Basic earnings per share stood at 1.14 sen, up from 0.28 sen, while net assets per share rose to 70 sen from 68 sen a year ago.
The group has declared dividends of 1.5 sen per share.
The group said it will maintain its focus on residential properties and further galvanise its position in the market, especially in the Klang Valley, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Kedah.
The group is confident of better results this year.
