Chin noted that rents for units on the ground floor average RM4 psf and RM1.20 psf for units on the first floor. The monthly rental achieved in this deal – RM1,800 or RM1.10 psf – is therefore within the market’s typical range, he said.

Available listings show that the asking monthly rental for ground floor units with built-ups of 1,380 sq ft is RM4,800, while units of the same size on the first floor are asking for RM1,800 a month.

According to a rental listing on TheEdgeProperty.com dated March 31 this year, a 1,500 sq ft unit in 10 Boulevard, which is located about 1.2km away from Glomac Centro, is asking for RM1.80 psf or RM2,700.
