DUBAI: Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) will showcase its US$422 million (RM1.35 billion) Cedre Villas (pictured) at Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2010, to be held from April 18 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The Cedre Villas is a residential component at DOS, a 7.2 sq km state-of-the-art integrated high technology park, comprising office towers, research and development (R & D) and industrial zones, villas and apartments, educational institutions, hotels, healthcare and a range of lifestyle facilities.

DSO was launched in October 2002 and intended to be a world centre for electronic R & D and innovation. DSO is a fully-owned entity of the Dubai government.

Cedre Villas comprises luxury villas, executive villas, twin villas or townhouses in three distinct architectural models. Sizes range from 3,831 sq ft to 7,276 sq ft. A total of 1,047 units are being planned, said Muammar Al Katheeri, senior vice president of Engineering Management at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) in a press release on Cityscape Abu Dhabi’s website.

“Every year, Cityscape Abu Dhabi brings together thousands of visitors, investors, developers and industry leaders. We are delighted to be part of this key industry event this year,” he said.

Cityscape Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s largest international business-to-business real estate investment and development conference held annually, and features an exhibition that brings together regional and international companies from various fields related to property.
