KOTA KEMUNING (April 18): Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) will be unveiling the first phase of its Eco Sanctuary City development – Eco Somerset lifestyle shop offices in the Eco Sanctuary township at the south of Kota Kemuning – on April 24, said Eco Sanctuary general manager Ho Kwee Hong.

Ho said the 62-acre Eco Sanctuary City is part of the integrated development in the 308-acre Eco Sanctuary township, and comprises wellness apartments, shop offices, office towers, a hotel and a convention centre.

Eco Somerset comprises 88 units of 2-storey and 3-storey lifestyle shop offices with built-up sizes between 3,000 sq ft and 6,000 sq ft.

The selling price starts from RM1.8 million, or averages RM600 psf.

Eco Somerset lifestyle shop offices will cater to the daily needs of residents and include retail, F&B and other services such as laundry service.

“The residents will be the immediate catchment for the commercial area, not to mention residents from Kota Kemuning and Klang who are looking for more F&B choices. There is approximately a one million population catchment covering areas like Kota Kemuning, Bandar Bukit Tinggi and Port Klang,” Ho added.

EcoWorld“The balloting process for the Eco Somerset lifestyle shop offices in Eco Sanctuary will commence on April 24 at 10am. Interested buyers will have to drop their RM100,000 cheques as booking fees at the Eco Sanctuary sales gallery by April 23, before 5pm,” she highlighted.

For interested buyers who are not chosen during balloting, the cheque is refundable.

“Currently, we have received cheques from 30 registrants. There are around 50 interested buyers who plan to submit their cheque next week,” she added.

Ho noted that the first chosen buyer will get the chance to choose their preferred unit from the site plan.

However, as 23 units of Eco Somerset have been allocated for the company’s associates and staff, therefore only 65 units are available in the market now.

The construction of the residential properties – Monterey and Terraza landed homes and The Parque Residences – is progressing well and the houses are slated to be handed over to the owners starting mid-2018.

Meanwhile, Ho said the company is also planning the second phase of Eco Somerset, which consists of 68 units of shop offices with a similar concept and layout, and expects to launch the project by year-end.
