SHAH ALAM: MKH Bhd’s RM1.3 billion Hillpark@Shah Alam North showed encouraging take-up rates for their newly launched phases called Pine, Cherry and Olive at its property launch last weekend.
“This is a rapidly growing township as we have tested the response and market demand when we first launched our residential project called Pelangi Seri Alam three years ago,” said managing director Tan Sri Eddy Chen. “All the terraced link units and shop offices have been fully sold and we are now in the midst of handing [them] over to homeowners. This allows MKH to further increase its presence and growth in other parts of greater Kuala Lumpur apart from Kajang.
“The development will consist of 11 phases, with one of them being a 50-acre (20ha) park within the development,” said Chen. Hillpark@Shah Alam North is an eco-themed integrated development that sits on 550 acres of leasehold land in Puncak Alam. The integrated development is scheduled to be fully developed in the next five years.
The development will comprise affordable landed homes and choice units of various sizes and designs priced from RM439,000.
Pine consists of 311 units of 2-storey link homes sitting on land measuring 20ft (6m) by 70ft and 22ft by 70ft. According to the group, Pine was fully taken up within a month. The Pine homes sold for between RM439,000 and 493,000.
Its Cherry phase has three sub-phases (Cherry I, II and III) with Cherry I and II already 100% sold since its preview in March and April this year. Cherry I and II comprise 232 two-storey link and superlink homes of 22ft by 65ft and 24ft by 80ft respectively. According to the group, Cherry III is currently open for registration due to the healthy take-up rates of previous phases. Cherry homes are priced from RM493,000.
Pine, Cherry I and II, which started construction at end-2013 and early 2014 respectively, are set to be completed within the next two years.
Hillpark’s Olive phase, which comprises 171 two-storey link houses measuring 22ft by 75ft, enjoyed a 50% take-up rate since its launch last weekend. The price range for Olive homes is between RM561,000 and RM570,000.
“We believe that this latest [development] would help meet the high demand for landed property in Malaysia, as well as introduce MKH to a new and wider market in northern Klang Valley,” Chen said. “The development has attracted young families and first-time buyers for owner-occupancy.”
The unveiling of the Hillpark@Shah Alam North integrated development was in conjunction with MKH’s opening of its Hillpark@Shah Alam North sales gallery. MKH has plans for several launches comprising bungalows, and semi-detached and terrace homes for its Hillpark@Shah Alam North by year-end.
