KUALA LUMPUR: Casa Andaman Sdn Bhd, the developer of Cova Square in Kota Damansara, says that 20 of the 30 units in the first phase of its Diamond Square new shop office development in Serdang, Selangor have been sold since its release early last month.

With a gross development value (GDV) of RM107 million, the project spans 6.69 acres of leasehold land in Serdang town. The development consists of two phases, offering a total of 60 units of shop offices, said sales and marketing head Datuk Dr Vincent Tiew.

The units were priced from RM3 million to RM7 million. The build-ups range from 8,400 sq ft to 14,810 sq ft.

"Construction will commence between mid to end May," Tiew told theedgeproperty.com via email, adding that completion is expected in 30 months or by mid-2014.

Phase 2 will be launched by mid May, he said.

Tiew said all units at Diamond Square come with individual lifts and full glass panels for the first to third floors for perfect visibility, while the external façade is column free.

"(There's) more than 800 car park bays serving the commercial centre, which is right in Serdang Town Centre — a new commercial centre for the retail and banking needs of Serdang residents," he said.

The area is also easily accessible via major highways such as the KL-Seremban highway, the North-South Highway and the Sungei Besi Highway.

Completed projects under Casa Andaman's belt include the RM144 million Casa Subang at USJ 1, Subang — which is a 588-unit serviced apartment project on three acres of freehold land — as well as the Cova Suites, Cova Villa and Cova Square developments in Kota Damansara.
