KUALA LUMPUR: IJM Corp Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, has been appointed by Damansara Uptown Retail Centre Sdn Bhd (DURC) to construct a commercial development in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya for a contract sum of RM396 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the construction giant announced that IJM Construction has accepted the letter of acceptance issued by DES Architect on behalf of DURC for the main building works for the commercial development.
“The project comprises the building works of a five-storey shopping mall with one block of two-storey office, three blocks of one or two-storey commercial pods and a 21-storey hotel block on top of the shopping mall,” said IJM Corp, adding that the construction period of the project is 25 months.
