KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Property Bhd's (SDP) USJ Heights development saw almost 75% of its second phase's zero lot bungalows snapped up within a week of its launch in January, it said in a statement on Wednesday, Mar 9.

Indigo II, the second phase of the gated and guarded freehold development in Subang Jaya, comprises 35 units of 2-storey and 3-storey zero lot bungalows priced from RM1.97 million to RM3.27 million.

The bungalows have a land area of 3,627 sq ft to 8,095 sq ft and a build-up of 3,898 sq ft to 5,670 sq ft, and are set in one of six garden-themed neighbourhoods — namely, Modern Tropical, Malay Tradition, Balinese, Zen, Mediterranean and Highland.

Meanwhile, its first phase Indigo I saw 50 out of 58 zero lot bungalows sold since its launch last year.

The units are priced from RM1.74 million to RM2.96 million, and feature a land area of 3,595 sq ft to 8,654 sq ft and a build-up of 3,795 sq ft.

SDP managing director Datuk Tunku Putra Badlishah said the Indigo zero lots offer remarkable value for home owners looking at owning detached homes within a gated and guarded development.

"There is also strong potential for capital appreciation as evidenced by the resales in our initial USJ Heights phases, providing buyers with healthy financial returns," he adds.

The next phase of USJ Heights is scheduled to launch in the middle of the year. It will comprise bungalows on an elevated site.

USJ Heights is scheduled for completion in Dec 2012.
