TAIPEI: Property investment and advisory firm Jones Lang LaSalle will raise its Greater China staff by 5% this year on a robust commercial property market outlook, an executive said on March 9.

"We had been conservative in recruiting in the past... We have become more aggressive as we're optimistic about commercial properties in Greater China," K K Fung, the firm's managing director of Greater China, told Reuters on the sidelines of a business event.

Jones Lang LaSalle now has 10,720 staff in Taiwan, China and Hong Kong combined. Last year, total profits from Greater China accounted for half of the company's Asia-Pacific profits, he said. -- Reuters
