KUALA LUMPUR: KrisAssets Holdings Bhd’s pre-tax profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2012, rose to RM1.18 billion compared with RM80.08 million recorded in the same period last year.

Revenue, however, declined to RM84.63 million from RM90.87 million previously, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

The hike in pre-tax profit was mainly due to gain on disposal of investment properties in the reviewed quarter. — Bernama
