KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd enjoyed a 85% take-up rate upon launching the first four towers of its RM1.5 billion Lakeville Residence in Taman Wahyu. Some 9,000 people showed up at its sales gallery in Jalan Sibu.

According to executive director and chief executive officer Ng Chai Yong, 1,057 units valued at RM708 million were taken up during Lakeville Residence’s launch last Sunday.

“Additionally, we opened another two towers, which are Tower C and D for registration of interest. There are also limited units of 3- and 4-storey shop units facing Jalan Sibu that are for sale,” he said.

The development, which is situated by a lake, has six residential towers with a 9-storey car park podium. Its residential units will have built-ups from 978 sq ft to 1,365 sq ft with the selling price starting from RM561,800. It will also feature a 3.1-acre (1.3ha) park, which is located on top of the car park podium.

Its shop units have a built-up starting from 4,651 sq ft to 13,639 sq ft. The selling price is from RM3.5 million to RM7.5 million. Lakeville Residence is due for completion in 2018.

Mah Sing group managing director and group chief executive Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “Lakeville Residence brings convenience to you not just in terms of location and accessibility, but within the development as well. For example, residents at Lakeville Residence will enjoy partially furnished units which will come with fully-fitted kitchen cabinets, air conditioning as well as water heaters. Even more, each unit is provided with two parking lots which are considered a luxury in today’s space-hungry city limits.”

According to Ng, the group is proposing to build two links to Kepong and Tesco Extra Selayang. Lakeville Residence is minutes away from Tesco and Aeon Metro Prima Shopping Centre in Kepong and to schools such as SJKC Mun Choong, SMK Hillcrest, Baseerah International School and International Islamic School.

Lakeville Residence is connected via Jalan Kuching, which is accessible by the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway and the Middle Ring Road 2. It is 15 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur city centre and the nearest KTM Taman Wahyu station is a seven-minute walk.
