MBSA asked to inspect Indah Ria Apartments

SHAH ALAM: Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has been asked to inspect the Indah Ria Apartments, in Section 22, here, which are facing problems of land fissure.

Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he had also urged MBSA to hold discussions with the residents to know whether their homes could be occupied or not.

"If the apartments can still be occupied, MBSA will ask to make repairs in advance, if not...a solution must be found," he told reporters today.

About 1,000 residents of the apartments had previously expressed concern and sought cooperation from the state government to help solve the problem. - Bernama
