SHAH ALAM: The Ministry of Housing and Local government is considering how, water harvesting can be implemented in housing projects in Malaysia.

The Minister of Housing and Local Government Datuk Wira Chor Chee Heung said the Cabinet has agreed to this.

"Water harvesting is a measure of how rainwater can be harvested for domestic purposes," he said, during the official launch of Setia City, an integrated green commercial hub in Shah Alam launched by SP Setia Bhd.

"There is no time-line in terms of implementation for it. We are in the process of making it one of the building by-laws," Chor said. — Bernama
